It's Wednesday. Middle of the week. Another year older. Today, I'm feeling it a little. Drama, students, and impending parent-teacher conferences(tomorrow) are making me feel everyone of my 39 years. On the bright side, I have a whole year before I'm forty. Just letting you guys know we're doing ok around here. It's cold but not a lot of snow. Taunya will be taking the tests for High Performance classes in junior high. She's a little concerned about how she will do, but I know she'll do fine. It surprises me that the school year is half over and before we know it another summer will be upon us. Sorry - I'm rambling. Anyway, take care, God Bless you, we're praying for all of you.

Yes, it's Friday and I'm about to call it a day. It's almost 6pm here in the Mid-West and I want to get my birthday started early. I'm hoping people sent me nice fat cheques with many zeros (more likely ALL zeros). A busy week has ended - catching up on grading so mid-trimester grades are as up to date as possible - and preparing for parent-teacher conferences next week- and preparing for the school play. I'm having touble focusing...talk to you later. God Bless you all.

I've been a little lax on keeping up with my blog since I returned from Christmas in Canada. Things have been a little hectic - drama is up and running and we're trying to find funding so we can put on a decent production. We have less than $700 in our account and I haven't paid our performance royalties yet. It always works out so I'm not too worried.
It was fun reading Sarah's blog about the weekend with jr. high students. I was having a different thought about some of them this past weekend. I do know many Jr. High kids who are intelligent, thoughtful, and want to make a difference. However, I had a different start to my Friday last week. Before school started I had to break up a fight between two girls and in the process I was hit by one of the fight participants. Can't go into detail, sorry. Just wanted to let you know the flip side of Jr. High students.
God Bless you and your families. See you soon.

It's been quite a while since I posted. We were in Canada over the Christmas break and returned to about 4 inches of snow on the ground. The kids were excited to go out and play in the snow - make a snowman, build a snowfort, go sledding and snowboarding in the backyard. Me- I slept in and didn't do a whole lot when we got back. The time we spent in Canada was great filled with a food, fun, and family. The food was great and plentiful; I think I put on 10 pounds while I was there. The fun was found in surprising my family on the day we arrived and surprising my sister as she waited to get my niece's picture taken with Santa Claus. Also, my Opa had a lot of fun playing dominoes and stumping us with games he played as a kid. Spending time with family was also good. We don't get to see family often so visiting over the holidays lets us catch up with them on a personal basis and more fun than posting on blog sites and emailing one another.
God Bless you and I'll keep posting.
Fun fact: word of the year - "plutoed" to be demoted or lessened in some capacity
