The time for winter travel is getting closer, and it looks like it will be a pretty uneventful trip. No real snow in the forecast. On a different note, I have finally finished putting the new "railing" system up in our living room. I haven't taken any pictures yet, but it looks good. The kids are quite excited for the travel day to arrive. I have told Taunya we will be showing the videos of her violin concert, choir concerts, and the church musical on the 23rd. Is that ok with everyone? She seems to think it would be a little embarassing to show those on her birthday. I don't think it would be embarrassing. God bless you, you are in our prayers.

For those of you with children, or are thinking about having children, this blog's for you. Be prepared, be VERY prepared, to give up any semblance of a personal intinerary or social life. As Julie and I look at our December calendar, we see how busy 1 of our children will keep us. I believe there is at least one rehearsal for either violin or choir every day this week. On top of that the weekends, prior to our departure for Canada, has some concert event as well - either from the school district or church.
Because of this I am, here and publicly, thanking my mother for all the thousands of miles she has driven me places whether she wanted to or not. Thank you.
I am declaring my wife and I taxi drivers to the young and carless in our home - specifically our oldest.
Have a great day and don't forget to put our your stiefeln for St. Nicholas' Tag.
